Trail Description | | 11 miles of single-track mountain bike trails in a 100-acre wood are the most recent addition to England - Idlewild Park. These are a four-tier route designed for riders of all levels. Beginner (half-mile), Intermediate (2-1/2 mile), and Advanced (5-mile) courses were supplemented with a Technical (2-1/2 mile) route. There is also a half-mile tabletop for jump loop. The trail is well signed to prevent getting lost in the dense woods. Several creek crossings, two picnic kiosks, and elements such as teeter-totters for advanced riders enhance the already beautiful area surrounding the trails. Trail entrance is in the rear of the park between ball fields #6 and #7 | Trail Days | None at this time

Directions | | I-75 South from Cincinnati, take the Burlington, Hwy 18 exit (exit 181) and go west on Burlington Road for approx. 5 miles to Burlington. Just past the courthouse turn right on Idlewild Rd and go approx. 1mile. You will pass the Boone County fairgrounds on the left and just to the right will be the entrance to the England Idlewild Park. Turn right into the park and take the main road to the last ball fields on the right – fields 6 and 7. You can park at the end of the road that goes between fields 6 & 7. Follow the edge of the woods to the right for 200 feet and you will see an opening in the fence line to the left, follow the road down the hill into the woods and you will see the bridge. |
